Forgiveness…

Forgiveness is an asking to be set free! And an opportunity for the violated to forgive.

When a person says “I am sorry” after an offense or misdeed, the negative energy from the act can still have a negative influence, impact and residual that can house apprehension, nuture animosities and apathy that buildup into an emotional weight called bondage.

Without the violated being confronted or addressed on the offense or misdeed, the incident still remains an unresolved issue.

“I’m sorry” is a self-pity, one-way absorb that lacks acknowledgement from the victim or the offended. Also “I’m sorry” steers far from two or more hearts that can redress and mend the complication.

Forgiveness is not an eleven- letter word, but an asking of the violated or the offended for pardon of the misdeed or erred act.

And, lastly, another reason why it is important to ask the violated “will you forgive me”? … Is because, there is a place within both the human spirit and human heart that need goodness and clarity, for a viable, functional and God-filled life.
